When should I start pre-need planning?

It’s never too early to begin. Many people choose to plan when they’re healthy and clear-minded, ensuring their preferences are known and their family won’t have to make difficult decisions later.

Can I change my plan after it’s made?

We recommend speaking with a Family Service Counselor to review your current plan and discuss any changes you would like to make. They can guide you through the options available and explain any pricing differences that may apply.

Is pre-need planning expensive?

Pre-need planning does not have to be expensive. In fact, by arranging in advance, you can lock in today’s prices, explore payment options, and avoid the financial pressure that can come with making decisions during a time of loss.

What does pre-need planning include?

Pre-need planning includes selecting a cemetery, choosing your preferred burial type, selecting your place of burial and memorialization, planning your funeral and wake, and sharing your wishes with your family so they feel informed and prepared.

Do I have to make all the decisions right away?

No. Pre-need planning is a process, and you are not required to make every decision at once. Many families begin by selecting a cemetery and burial space, then take time to consider additional details when they feel ready. A Family Service Counselor can guide you step by step, allowing you to move at a pace that feels comfortable and thoughtful.
