A Sacred Tradition Returns: Monthly Cemetery Mass

We’re extremely pleased to announce the restart of the traditional monthly mass held at Buffalo Catholic Cemetery. We will rotate the masses between our cemetery locations, with the first mass being held Saturday, March 7th at 9:00 AM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kenmore, inside the Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum.
You’ve chosen Catholic Cemeteries in part because it is sacred ground, blessed by the Holy Church, and consecrated by those buried here. The land, the space, the entire property is an extension of our parish community, giving witness to the fact that our faith is unbroken by death. While we’ve experienced a loss that can never be replaced, mass held on cemetery grounds helps celebrate the lives of family members, and honor those we’ve lost and placed on this sacred ground.
All of us are better than any of us – and this particular mass will be celebrated by Fr. Paul Nogaro, who – along with Bishop Michael Fisher - was instrumental in restarting this long-standing cemetery tradition. We hope you can find time to join us on Saturday March 7 to honor your family members and make all of us stronger together.
