History
On September 17, 1955, Bishop Joseph A. Burke granted permission to purchase approximately 160 acres of land on Grand Island for future cemetery use. The cemetery was officially consecrated by Bishop Burke in 1956.
The peaceful rural setting of this spacious cemetery adds to its natural beauty and serene atmosphere.
